Travis Schefcik is a retired Navy veteran with twenty-one years of service, a writer, and a longtime student of Zen Buddhism, contemplative Christianity, and Nonduality. He spent nearly two decades chasing peace before it found him in 2013, not with fanfare, but in a moment so quiet he almost missed it.

What followed wasn't an arrival. It was a beginning.

Through Operation Stillness, Travis works with veterans, first responders, and their families who are tired of the fight but aren't sure how to put the armor down. His work bridges ancient contemplative wisdom and modern nervous system science, offering practical tools for people who have tried everything else and still feel stuck.

He writes and teaches without the spiritual bullshit or clinical sterility, because the people he serves have finely tuned detectors for both.

Travis is happily married to Holly, whose steadiness and belief made this work possible and continues to make it worth doing.

He lives by a simple conviction:

Strength looks different now. That's the whole point.
